Michael Pettenato

Michael is the frenetic, people-pleasing manager at AmStar.

After graduating from Westminster here in Atlanta, he went off to the University of Southern California to pursue acting. He trained at top acting studios in both LA and NY, studied voice with John Raitt (Bonnie's Dad) and danced with several of Britney and Janet's dancers.

Tired of the LA scene, he moved to NYC and found himself performing stand-up on Broadway for 3 years...sharing a stage with Judi Gold, Jessica Curson, Colin Quinn, and opening for Lisa Lampanelli. He chose mortgages as a "day job," and learned from a leading company right on Wall Street. The mortgage ladder was an easier climb and much more lucrative, so he pocketed his performance dreams and plunged into his profession.

He moved back to Atlanta 3 years ago, for a break from the city life, and has settled in here to develop a great referral-based business. He's a member of Nspire Community Church, By Referral Only, Landmark Education, and he's an avid tennis player with Alta and Atta. He's a proud volunteer of both time and money to AID Atlanta, where he makes a real difference to people in need.

He treats his clients like close friends...and makes them laugh all the way to the closing and afterwards.
